The Deacons of Omaha Bible Church met on Tuesday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss ministry opportunities in the body.

Keith Walter was the facilitator and Marin Bast shared news and updates, followed by a review of attendance, and the financial report.

Vimal George opened the meeting with prayer, praising God and asking for wisdom and discernment and for the ministry at OBC.

We discussed Chapter 4 of the London Baptist Confession of 1689 on creation. While a short chapter, we were again reminded of the purpose of God in creation.

We reviewed church finances, ministry opportunities and various projects that are headed by different deacons. 

The fall Church Workday was reviewed and we were encouraged by what was accomplished. God was praised for the body serving to complete many projects.    

John Widhalm closed our time with prayer. Our next meeting is on Tuesday, November 16 at 7:00 p.m.
