The Elders of Omaha Bible Church met on Wednesday morning, January 31st. Pat opened the meeting with a word of prayer. We then took a few minutes going over chapter 19 of the London Baptist Confession of 1689, which covered the Law of God.

Dave Guthrie proceeded to go over the financials. For the month of December our total income was $73,340 with a budget of $67,301.

Our total expenses for the month of December were $61,459 with a budget of $62,472. The pastors and elders are extremely encouraged and continue to praise God for his lovingkindness seen in the giving from the body.

Andrew then brought membership applications to be approved by the elders. Andy & Kama Arkfeld, Alan Carlson, John & Kimberly Eidem, John & Melissa Hovendick, Damien & Amanda Impelluso, Ruben & Estella Nunez, Jerry & Judy Onstead, Don & Rachel Otto, James Otto, Noreen Perkins, Jeff & Molly Reed, Jason & Jill Weber, and Daniel Wood were all formally inducted as members of OBC on Sunday, February 4th. 

Pat then briefly talked about Aaron Sasane, who is currently pursuing his MDiv at Westminster Seminary in California. We were all very encouraged with how he is doing with not only classes but also being a husband and father to two. 

The meeting closed with a word of prayer. Our next one is scheduled for February 20, 2024
