On Tuesday January 23, the Deacons met to discuss ministry opportunities, a devotional, finances and an overview of the Greeting and Set Up Ministry, which is led by Vimal George.

Pastor Mike Holloway facilitated the meeting while Martin Bast opened in prayer and praise for all that Christ has accomplished for us. Ed Pille recorded action items and took minutes.

John Widhalm led our devotional in our continued review of 
The London Baptist Confession on Chapter 8 - Christ the Mediator.

Vimal reviewed the set up ministry’s responsibilities, which include: weddings, conferences and other events that require a set up or tear down as well as the Information Desk in the front lobby. He also highlighted that this part of the ministry is a good way to interact with and get to know the body.

We discussed other ministry opportunities, including potential container storage, Sunday School Room painting, and other interior painting plans.

The last topic we focused on was the snow removal ministry. This has been a very busy season for Tim Hare and his team. If you have the opportunity to help Tim, be sure to get in touch with him.
