On Tuesday, April 23 the deacons met at 7:00 p.m. to discuss ministry opportunities, a devotional, finances, and an overview of the ministries for which Pastor Mike Holloway has responsibility.

Pastor Mike facilitated the meeting, having Ed Pille open in prayer and praise for all that Christ has accomplished for us. John Widhalm recorded action items and took minutes.

Willie Zwiener led our devotional in our continued review of The London Baptist Confession of 1689. The discussion focused on Chapter 18 - Assurance of Salvation.

Pastor Mike reviewed the Adult Bible School ministry, which he is teaching through the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament.

He also oversees the Women’s Ministry and Office Administration, which includes various items like scheduling, membership, budgets, and any general office-related matters.

Other ministry opportunities that we discussed were VBS and several individual service opportunities. We concluded with the review of all the items completed during the spring workday in April. We had over 30 people show up to complete various activities for the interior and exterior.
