The Deacons of Omaha Bible Church met on Thursday, February, 24 at 7:00 p.m. Vimal George opened us in prayer, giving thanks for the blessings we have in Christ and the honor we have to serve.

Pastor Mike Holloway reviewed the giving updates for the previous month. Giving continues to be strong this fiscal year. We praised God for the faithful giving of the body at OBC.

Pastor Mike led us through a discussion on Chapter 6 of The London Baptist Confession of 1689 – The Fall of Man, Sin & its Punishment. It was a rich discussion on our state before God and our desperate need for Him.

Kevin Lanning was our ministry guest leader. Kevin leads the Cleaning Ministry. It was encouraging to hear everything that is going on behind the scenes for upkeep of our building. If you desire to serve in the ministry, please reach out to Kevin.

We discussed numerous other ministry plans, including the return of Vacation Bible Church for 2022! It is scheduled to run the week of June 13. Be on the lookout for further information regarding VBS.

John Schmoll closed us in prayer at 8:30 p.m. The next meeting is Tuesday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m.
