The Deacons of Omaha Bible Church met via Zoom on Tuesday, October 27. Willie Zwiener opened our time in prayer, giving thanks to God for His blessings and the ability to minister to the body during these times.

Mike Holloway facilitated the meeting and reviewed the attendance and financial report. We were again encouraged by the abundant provision of the Lord in giving. We also rejoiced in all of the new visitors to OBC, both online and in-person.

John Schmoll led us in the discussion of chapter 27 from the London Baptist Confession of 1689 on the communion of the saints. It was a rich time to remember the role and benefits of being united together in love. 

We discussed various maintenance issues, including streamlining items in the ministry resource room and livestreaming of Sunday services.

Due to a scheduling conflict, we were not able to have a special ministry guest.

Our next meeting is scheduled for December 15.
