Greetings from the Sasanes! We are doing well down here in Southern California as we head into the final months of our time in seminary. What an enriching experience it has been to study in seminary. It has helped Aaron gain a deep understanding of and love for God’s word. We are thankful to God for this opportunity and all the means that he has used to make it possible for Aaron to receive this training.

This last year at seminary has been both challenging and rewarding. Aaron was able to finish all his classes in Old and New Testament studies; he also had the opportunity to take a class in Aramaic studying the first seven chapters of Daniel. Learning Greek and Hebrew has helped open up the scriptures in a fresh way.

We are blessed by the community of believers here. Sharing this season of life with our fellow students and their families has helped us get through the challenges of seminary life. Aaron has had several opportunities to serve the local church here through preaching, teaching, and serving in the music ministry. We are thankful to God for these opportunities as well.

Last summer we had the opportunity to travel as a family to Sweden to attend Abi’s sister’s wedding. It was a good break and a wonderful time with Abi’s side of the family, who met Sophie for the first time.

Abi has enjoyed getting to know some of the ladies and taking part in events run by the Westminster Women’s Fellowship. She also had the opportunity to host a baby shower for a fellow seminary family and bless them as they welcome their baby. Our kids, Jonny (5) and Sophie (1) have loved growing up here in the seminary village and will definitely miss all their friends.

As our time in seminary comes to close, we are reminded of the faithfulness of our God who has provided all our needs and helped us endure through the various tough moments of seminary. We are confident of God’s faithfulness even in the next step as we enter into ministry to reach our fellow Indians with the gospel.
