The Elders of Omaha Bible Church met on Tuesday, August 18, for their monthly meeting. The meeting began with prayer followed by a consideration of chapter 15 of the London Baptist Confession of 1689 on repentance unto life and salvation.

Dan Perina then presented the July financial report. Giving has remained steady and was right on pace with the budget for July. Expenses were also right on budget for the month. August is the final month in the fiscal year for the church, and while giving has been under our plan for the year, our expenses have remained lower than planned as well, putting us in a good position to finish the fiscal year. We continue to be thankful for your partnership in gospel ministry at OBC and are looking forward to another year of fruitful ministry together.

We have a lot of fall ministries starting up in September. Make sure to watch for information on those ministries in the weeks ahead. The next Membership Class is scheduled for Saturday, October 24 at 8:30 a.m. This class is for anyone who would like to formally become a member at OBC. Look for sign-ups in the coming weeks.

The next elders meeting is scheduled for September 22.
