The Elders of Omaha Bible Church met on Tuesday, September 24 for their regular monthly meeting. The meeting began with Pastor Pat opening in prayer giving thanks to the Lord for the ministry we share at OBC, particularly this fall season and all the ministries taking place.

Mike Grimes then led the elders through a reading of chapter 26 of the London Baptist Confession of 1689. This portion of the confession is on the church and is encouraging to read as you see how Christ establishes, leads, and governs his church that he promised to build. We are reminded yet again that we are undershepherds of the Chief Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dave Guthrie presented the financial and attendance report for the month of August. This report also included the final financials for the fiscal year that ended on August. 31. The Lord is faithful and provided graciously for the ministry at Omaha Bible Church over this past ministry year.

Income for the year was ahead of our budget coming in at $926,718 compared to a plan of $874,912. Expenses for the year were also under our plan at $777,028 compared to a plan of $814,942. Our net income for the year was $91,804. What a joy it is to partner together in gospel ministry as a church and to see how the Lord continues to work through everyone as they serve, pray, and support the ministry. Thank you for your continued sacrificial giving.

The elders concluded the meeting by discussing various ministries and upcoming events at the church. We are looking forward to the Pactum Conference coming up in just a few short weeks.
