The Deacons of Omaha Bible Church met on Tuesday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m. Martin Bast opened us in prayer, giving thanks for the blessings we have in Christ and the honor we have to serve the body at OBC.

Pastor Holloway then led us through news and financial updates for thus far in the year. It was another good month of giving and, combined with being under budget on expenses, has put us in a great position for the rest of the year. We praised God for the faithful giving of the body and for all that He has blessed us with.

Keith Walter then led us through chapter 28 of the London Baptist Confession of 1689 on Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We also spent a fair bit of time discussing how we as deacons can specifically serve the needs of the body at OBC.

We discussed numerous other ministry items, such as the upcoming All-Church Workday on April 26, VBS during the week of June 9-13, and the Pactum Conference October 3^rd and 4^th.

We closed in prayer at 9:00 p.m. The next meeting is Tuesday, June 24 at 7:00 p.m.
