Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ at OBC,

Greetings from Southeast Asia!

2025 has been a year of great change for Aaron, Abi, and the kids. After graduation in the summer, we made our big move back to Southeast Asia. We are very grateful to the Lord for the training that Aaron received in seminary. We continue to be amazed at God’s good providence in making this seminary journey possible. OBC has played a huge part in supporting us through this time. We are so thankful for our partnership in the gospel.

This has been a big move for us and the kids. Jonny (six years old) was two years old when we moved to the USA for seminary. He has been rediscovering Southeast Asia and loving it. He loves his soccer team that he trains with. He also enjoys commuting on the motorbike with his Dad.

Sophie (two years old) is also settling in and learning fast. Abi continues to homeschool the kids. Jonny loves math. Sophie loves picking up new words and learning new songs. While we are happy to be with our extended family here in Southeast Asia, the loss of Aaron’s Mom last month has been heavy on our hearts. The Lord continues to be our hope. We eagerly await the resurrection and our eternal home.

After moving to Southeast Asia, we had to wait on God’s providence for an avenue to serve his people. We found an apartment in an area of Southeast Asia with few churches, and not any that are faithfully teaching the Bible. Our hope was to plant a church. But God had other plans.

Another church in Southeast Asia was looking for a pastor and reached out to my brother for recommendations. As we prayerfully considered this opportunity, we saw the Lord’s hand leading us to this small congregation. It has been such a blessing to serve God’s people at Calvary Bible Church. They love to listen to God’s word and are eager to grow in good reformed theology. We are grateful to God for bringing us together in his time and in his way.

Please pray for us as we continue to serve this local church. Aaron is enjoying discipling some of the men in the church and passing on the training he received in seminary. Abi loves serving the kids in Sunday school. We host young adults every week for a Bible Study. Life has gotten busy serving God’s people and we love it. Once again, we thank you for your continued love and support.
