During the 9:00 hour, Sunday School classes are offered for children and adults. Visit the Sunday School page for information about classes for children. Adult Sunday School classes are called Adult Bible School. We offer two recurring classes and a general session class.

Recurring Classes

Getting Started at OBC
This three week class helps to familiarize you with life and ministry at OBC. The class is led by Erik Raymond and covers such things as what we teach, how we do ministry, and how to get involved at the South Campus.

Fundamentals of the Faith (FOF)
Whether you are a new believer or have been walking with the Lord for many years FOF is as appropriate as it is valuable. The class reviews and reiterates the doctrines of the Christian faith in an interactive environment. FOF lasts for twelve weeks and is recommended after completing Getting Started.

General Session Classes

These classes offer a specific topic of study for adults. We examine Biblical texts systematically and show how to apply the life-changing truth of God's Word to our lives.

Current Class:   No Falling Words

The 2010 Fall ABS class will be studying the book of Joshua. It is a great opportunity to come and learn as we examine this Old Testament book and the promises of God. Joshua 21:45 states that, "Not one word of all the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass." This verse literally begins, "No word fell," which means that no words from the promises of God failed. As we study each Sunday morning at 9am, we can trust that we will find that God's promises contain no falling words, only standing ones upon which we can anchor our lives.
