The Omaha Bible Church Fall Family
Conference for 2010 will take place on Saturday October 30th
starting at 9:00 a.m.
Entitled "The Reformation Conference" we are excited to feature speaker author and
professor Stephen J. Nichols.
Professor Nichols will feed us a plentiful feast of historical background and teaching on God and the Bible as he weaves history biography and biblical reflection into each message. Focusing on the Reformation the conference will revolve around Martin Luther and the reformers as we study their legacy and impact on the spread of the gospel and the modern church.
The schedule for the conference and the title for each session is:
9:00 a.m. - Jan Hus Martin Luther and Sola Scriptura
10:30 a.m. - The Life of Luther and Commitment to the Church
12:00 noon - Lunch at Omaha Bible Church
1:00 p.m. - The Cross and Discipleship: From Martin Luther to Dietrich Bonhoeffer
2:00 p.m. - Conference ends.

Mr Nichols is Professor of
Christianity and Culture at Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster Pennsylvania an
d has his
Ph.D. from Westminster Theological Seminary. He is also an adjunct
professor for Reformed Theological Seminary and a visiting lecturer at
London Theological
Seminary.
He is the author of thirteen books among which are such titles as:
The
Reformation: How A Monk and a Mallet Changed the World Ancient Word
Changing Worlds: The Doctrine of Scripture in a Modern Age and Church History ABCs:
Augustine and Twenty-Five Other Heroes of the Faith.
Stephen Nichols speaks frequently in churches at conferences and on college campuses. He and his wife Heidi and three children live in Churchtown Pennsylvania.
