Sunday AM: The Right Man on Our Side

We are planning to be in Mark 1.12-13 this Sunday morning. The focus of our time will be upon the temptation of Jesus. There is quite a bit of treasure to be had for King Jesus in this brief narrative. And with this treasure there is much rejoicing for us. The parallel accounts are in Luke 4 & Matthew 4.

Main Point: You may live with humble confidence in Jesus because of his wilderness triumph.

We’ll aim to answer three questions to better understand Jesus’ wilderness temptation:

1.    Who sent him there?

2.    Why was he there?

3.    What is the significance for Christians?
