Jesus, the One who makes Demons Scream

With at title like this I hope I got your attention! That is the point. Jesus will not allow us to casually walk along the gospel road without some startling and arresting scenes. This week is no different.
We will be in Mark chapter 1, verses 21-28. Go ahead and read it and listen for Mark's descriptiveness. He wants us to be there, in the room as it were.
On Sunday we'll aim to learn from various characters in the narrative. Our specific emphasis will be upon how they respond to Jesus. Such a powerful snapshot serves to unsettle, confront, and instruct us.
Main Point: Because of what is at stake you must respond rightly to Jesus.
Please pray that God would be gracious and attend the proclamation of his word with his Holy Spirit that we might be convicted and transformed by him.
