The body of Christ has been given the privilege of reflecting the beauty of the Savior to all those around us.  The Word of God is the mirror by which true beauty may be understood, often revealing our desperate need for a radical transformation.

This workshop will include large and small group sessions filled with the "beauty secrets" which must be embraced in order to be changed from an offensive sinner into a beautifully adorned servant of Christ.  The event will include a light breakfast and lunch.

  • You may pay the workshop fee at the table in the fellowhip area on Sunday morning, January 17th, 24th, and 31st or mail your payment to:

Omaha Bible Church,   Women's Workshop,   7940 State St.,   Omaha, NE    68122

Along with hearing our keynote speaker, Erin McElvain, you will be able to attend four of the eight workshops listed below.

2)  Rightly Reflecting Christ’s Steadfastness taught by Karen Atkins
During this workshop we will behold the beauty of Christ’s steadfastness and consider how we may reflect Christ by being steadfast and undistracted in our service and devotion to God.

3)  Rightly Reflecting Christ’s Purity taught by Debra Zwiener
During this workshop we will behold Christ’s purity and consider how to reflect Christ by putting off impurity in thought, speech, motives and deeds in order to live holy and honest lives before Him and others.

4)  Rightly Reflecting Christ’s Kindness taught by Robin Peterson
During this workshop we will behold the kindness and generosity of the Lord that led us to repentance and consider how to reflect Christ by putting on kindness and reaching out to unbelieving friends, neighbors and strangers around us in order to meet their physical and spiritual needs.  This workshop will also help us think through how to order the priorities in our lives so we may be faithful to all God has called us to do.

5)  Rightly Reflecting Christ’s Compassion taught by  Carol Barber
During this workshop we will behold the compassion the Lord showed to believers by providing us eternal life and hope, and we will consider how to reflect Christ by putting on compassion and comforting others with the comfort with which we are comforted by God.

6)  Rightly Reflecting Christ’s Brotherly Love taught by Rebecca Hughes and Danielle German
During this workshop we will behold Christ’s brotherly love and consider how to reflect Him by putting on a love which motivates us to build up, encourage and provide for other believers.  We will contemplate both the purposes for and ways to love others in the family of God.

7)  Rightly Reflecting Christ’s Patience taught by Therese Pille
During this workshop we will behold the patience of Christ demonstrated to us as he waited for the day of our salvation and as he sanctifies and forgives us each and every moment.  In response, we will consider how to reflect Christ by putting on patience toward others.  An emphasis will be placed on our response to children and teenagers, but there will be plenty of application to all our relationships.

8)  Rightly Reflecting Christ’s Intimacy with the Father taught by Kristin Pille
During this workshop we will behold the intimacy of Christ with His Father, considering the fact that Jesus willingly was separated from him in order to gain sinners access to the Father motivates us to reflect Christ by cultivating our own relationship with God through time in the word and prayer.  We will also be encouraged to put on the joy, peace and humble dependence that is produced through intimacy with God.
