Our Commitment to Your Future Ministry:

IBS takes the believer’s stewardship responsibilities before Christ very seriously. Every believer has been entrusted by the Lord of the Church with spiritual talents to be invested in ministry in life, measured by faithfulness in heaven, and rewarded with service in eternity (Matt. 25.14-30; 1 Cor. 3:10-17).

Furthermore, God’s commitment to ministry that invests in eternity is unequivocally demonstrated in that He gave His church His Word for training (2 Tim. 3.16-17) and gifted leaders for equipping (Eph. 4.11-12). Therefore, Omaha Bible Church is whole-heartedly committed to equipping each believer for ministry for eternity knowing the final evaluation before Jesus Christ, the Lord of the Church.

Our Commitment to Your Personal Ministry:

IBS endeavors to honor this ministry stewardship by grounding your life on a solid biblical foundation; kindling your heart with the spiritual disciplines that fuel godly desires and affections, and motivating ministry that impacts lives by putting on the deeds of Christ.

As a result, we have organized each class into three categories:

Our Commitment to Your Growing Ministry:

Spiritual growth is intended to be fueled by speaking the truth in love (Eph. 4.15-16); godly attitudes and actions are meant to increase in conformity to Christ (2 Peter 1.4); the corporate body is meant to be built up through the contribution of each individual part (Eph. 4.16). We desire to encourage you in your spiritual growth as you serve Christ in a growing ministry.


Our Commitment to Your Leadership Ministry:

Omaha Bible Church follows the Ephesians 4 model, “equipping the saints for the work of ministry to the building up of the body of Christ.” For this reason, IBS is not only committed to helping all believers grow in the knowledge of God’s Word but is also committed to equipping leaders for their ministry stewardship. We understand that as leaders are equipped for the work of ministry so each leader will invest their life in the equipping process of another for personal growth and godliness. And we believe that this is God’s design.
