September - April

Women of the Word encourages women to study God’s Word daily by offering group Bible study, praise, prayer, small-group interaction, and weekly study questions that help stimulate and encourage learning and application.
Women from Omaha Bible church and Emmaus Bible church are welcome to attend any of the studies listed below.

This Winter -
The Joy and Discipline of Prayer;
lifting our hearts to the throne of God
Registration Now Open!
Please register early as books will need to be ordered.

Martin Luther said that, "the ancients ably defined prayer as 'a climbing up of the heart unto God'.  Just as little children learn to walk and climb day by day, so Christians learn the discipline and joy of prayer that lifts the believer's heart to the very throne of God.  When the believer is alone with God in prayer, the heart's adoration for Christ is stoked and God lovingly refines and molds us. Ladies, please be part of  the women's Bible study next semester as we learn about the amazing invitation God extends to believers to fellowship with Him in prayer. We will be using the book, The Power of Prayer in the Believer's Life by Charles Spurgeon.
