As a church, we continue to prayerfully pursue international mobilization for the purpose of bringing the gospel to all peoples. Thankfully this has occurred through many short-term mission trips. In recent years, OBC has sent missionaries to Russia, India, East Asia, and Africa. In addition, we are currently partnering with friends who are laboring to promote the gospel in other countries. Please join us in praying for the those who are currently serving in India and East Asia.
OBC is sending out a team of 7 individuals on a mission trip to Malawi in Southeast Africa. Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world. The average life expectancy is only 37 years old. The aver
age income per person is only $200 per year. Like America, Christianity is claimed by most, but there is little true faith. This team will be going to the capital city of Lilongwe to work with a missionary pastor named Brian Biedebach. Brian is a Master's Seminary graduate who is pastoring International Bible Fellowship Church which is located on the campus of African Bible College. International Bible Fellowship Church is a young church that serves the English speaking population of Lilongwe.
