Childrens Truth Academy (CTA)
| The Children’s Truth Academy (CTA) is a strategic ministry for children
from age three up through the fifth grade. The simple objective of CTA
is to proclaim Jesus Christ and teach the Word of God to children for
their salvation and spiritual maturity. Biblical instruction is
reinforced through scripture memory, systematic theology, historic
accuracy, and research projects. Complimenting the curriculum is
musical worship, Christian testimony, structured group games, and

Time: Wednesday Nights, 7:00 – 8:15 pm (September 13th through May 16th)

| Distinctives of CTA:

God-Centered: The focus of CTA is to glorify God by exalting the Truth (Jn. 14.6).

Comprehensive: God is concerned that His followers love Him with all
their minds (Matt. 22.37). Therefore, CTA is committed to presenting a
distinctly biblical worldview that both exalts, and submits to, the
sovereignty of God.

Clear: CTA seeks to accurately teach the intended meaning of Scripture
(2 Tim. 2.15). CTA seeks to avoid such errors as teaching Bible verses
out of context, neglect of systematic theology (how a given text fits
the bigger picture of God’s work), overlooking Jewish and Christian
history (how God has worked in the past, and is working today), and not
putting faith into action through service.

Safe: For the security of our students and their parents, all CTA
instructors undergo OBC’s standard background check and always work in
teams of at least two adults.
