Pastoral Intern, Blake Johnson
 Blake grew up in Amarillo, Texas. Raised in a Christian home, the Lord blessed him with parents who cultivated an interest in God's word and a biblical understanding of Christ's lordship over the lives of His followers.Blake moved to Omaha in the summer of 2005, when he began attending Omaha Bible Church. Desiring to be trained up for the purpose of teaching other believers, Blake began a pastoral internship at OBC in November of 2006, in preparation for further study at the seminary level. He is now leading a college Bible study at UNO and serves in the college Crossroads Care Group. Blake married his wife, Candice, in August of 2006. "My favorite passage of scripture is Ephesians 2:1-10. In verse 4, it tells us about how God made His elect alive even while we were naturally children of wrath. What undeserved love and mercy!" |
